Welcome to Seagrape Counseling and Consulting. I have been working in some capacity of mental health since the age of 16. Beginning in a group home for medically mental heath incapacitated persons. My clients were females who were born with half a brain, severe bipolar, schizophrenia, and brain damage from birth. From there I served multiple populations including general child care facilities, Catholic Social Services, treatment inside the county jail system, treatment with domestic violence offenders, sex offenders, and addiction. The last several years have turned my focus to general mental health, maternal mental health, fertility, adult ADHD and parenting struggles.
My own kiddo was diagnosed with ADHD in the 2nd grade soon after the return to school from COVID. Due to homeschooling his needs weren't identified by child professionals until the return to in person schooling. COVID postponed his ability to get properly diagnosed and the help he needed. These events had me wanting to know more about how to best help him and parents. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider and can help adults determine ADHD diagnosis and proper treatment as well as families learning to cope with a neurodivergent child needs to thrive.
